National Drug Enforcement Officers Association Educational Scholarship Fund Application
Purpose: To award a National Drug Enforcement Officers Association member's child with a college scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 for continuing their education after graduating from High School; and/or their post high school education. This scholarship can be used for an accredited college, university, or technical school. The funds can only be used to help with tuition costs. Qualifications: Any High School and/or College student who is the son or daughter of a current member in good standing of the National Drug Enforcement Officers Association may apply for the membership. The applicant for the scholarship must also meet the minimum qualifications enumerated below.
1. Be currently in High school scheduled to graduate in the year that the scholarship is due to be awarded; and /or be currently a College student actively pursuing an undergraduate degree. 2. Must have at least a 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must submit a copy of their transcript for verification 3. Must submit a minimum of three letters of recommendation from school/college officials. 4. Applicant must submit a written essay saying what their plans and goals are and why the applicant should receive the scholarship. 5. Application must be submitted and received by the NDEOA Executive Board no later than July 1st.
