An Executive Board Meeting was held in Biloxi, Mississippi at the Biloxi Hilton Hotel on September 2, 1982.  The following individuals attended:

Dean Smith – Conference Coordinator 1983
Sammy Owens – Conference Coordinator 1982
Hugh Shannahan – D.E.A. Training Supervisor

Topics of Discussion:
  1. Discussion on Robert Mayo – Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics Property Officer being made and Honorary Member due to his work on this Conference.  After discussion, vote was taken and passed by the Executive Boards, unanimous vote given.
  2. Discussion on having Francis Mullen, Head of D.E.A., present at the next Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  1983 President Wallace will handle the letter.
  3. Discussion with Mr. Shannahan on getting out our first Newsletter at the September 24th meeting of the Executive Board at Glynco, Georgia.  Discussion was presented by Mr. Shannahan on putting out a D.E.A. Pre-Registration Form for the Conference for 1983 – the Thirteenth Annual Conference.
