Conference 2004 Business Meeting

Meeting called to order at 11:10 am

Ricardo Dedeaux appointed Sgt. at Arms by President pat Pope.

Roll call by Secretary Sam Owens; 70 members present. 174 members registered at the conference. A quorum was met.

Reading of the previous minutes was waived.

Old Business:

Treasurer Steve Peterson gave the Treasurers Report. The Association has current balance of approximately $10,000 - $12,000. The audit committee instructed previous Treasurer George Hood to give the books from the 2003 Conference to current Treasurer.

New Business:

Conference site locations were discussed with the membership. Discussions centered around maintaining attendance at future conferences. It was noted that attendance better if the Conference was held east of the Mississippi River and specifically in the south east U. S. The following sites were considered:
Alberquerque, New Mexico
San Diego, California
Savannah, Georgia
New Orleans, Louisiana

President Pat Pope announced that the Association had purchased toys to give to the children at the Conference Banquet this evening.
