Business meeting called to order at 4:37 pm by President Paul Stevens

Tim Sellers appointed Sgt. At Arms

Roll Call by Secretary Pat Pope - 46 members present

A motion to waive the minutes of the last business meeting and the treasurers report was made by Sean Flanigan, seconded by Bob Dintino, passed by vote.

Old Business

Elections committee chairman Tom Golden reported no new nominations had been forwarded to the elections committee. A motion to accept the nominations and to declare the vote unanimous was made by Tom Golden, seconded by Sean Flanigan. A voice vote was then taken and the motion passed.

Sean Flanigan reported that the Audit Committed had met with the Treasurer and Steve Peterson. The committee reported there were no problems and that sound accounting and purchasing practices were being used. They reported no abnormal purchases.

New Business

President Steven’s reported that negotiations with the Georgia Narcotics Association and the National Criminal Enforcement Association to co-host the next conference with the NDEOA either in Savannah, GA or Atlanta, GA were ongoing. A lengthy debate ensued with the members being encouraged to consider hosting a conference I the home cities. No decision on the 2007 conference site was made.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:12 pm.
